Recovery Is Now on Kindle Unlimited

I’ve officially released my first standalone short story on Kindle Unlimited.

Recovery started as a small idea—what happens when grief meets vulnerability in a place designed to make you trust the people around you. It grew into something quieter and more unsettling than I expected, and when it was finished, it felt like the right piece to try something new.

This is the first time I’ve put a story exclusively on Kindle Unlimited. Normally I publish wide, but this one felt like it belonged in KU: short, intense, meant to be read in one sitting and linger afterward.

What Recovery Is

It’s a slow-burn psychological horror story set almost entirely in a hospital recovery wing. There’s no gore, no jump scares—just grief, isolation, and the uneasy comfort of being taken care of when you don’t want to be alone anymore.

If you like horror that works quietly and creeps up on you, this one’s for you.

What It Isn’t

It’s not a slasher.

 It’s not extreme horror.

It’s not meant to shock for the sake of shocking.

This story lives in the space between reality and acceptance, and it stays there.

Where to Read It

Recovery is available free to Kindle Unlimited subscribers, or as a $2.99 Kindle eBook for anyone who prefers to buy it outright.

Either way, I’m excited—and a little nervous—to finally let this one out into the world.

Thanks to everyone who’s been following my work so far. More stories are coming.
